I am Oregon-based artist David Zunkel the resident artist here at Zunk Studio. I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember & graduated with a BA in Fine Art. My passion is creating art inspired by the world around me and crafting pieces that last a lifetime and will always make you smile.

Upon finishing my college education, I began working as a Graphic Artist in Los Angeles. Since1996, I have worked on a variety of creative projects, but painting has always been both my passion and therapy. My work has been showcased in solo and group exhibitions along the West Coast. My artistic expression has gone through many phases over the years resulting in a highly personal approach and perspective. I relocated to Portland 7 years ago, where I live with my wife, 4-cats, the weirdest rescue dog, and a small squirrel army. I am always looking for my next engaging project.
